Arashi Poster:
I think the boys look quite kakoii in them!!! Alot of people bought the poster with everyone in it as you can see many people carrying the poster that is wrapped in green color. I will have preferred that the poster with everyone in it to be a together shot rather than cut and paste of each member.

Arrived at the Kyocera Dome around morning 11plus  and there were already a long queue for the goods. I quickly got into the line and it was a 1 hour wait before I manage to get my goods.

about me going to japan........well, its at the end of the year....and its for this bicultural immersion thing where students from my school get to go to other countries(like Shang Hai, Bei Jing, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and some others......)to study with students from their schools for a few days, and even get to stay at their homes, and in turn they come over and do the same thing.

so my friend(who is more experienced in Japanese than me) and I signed up to go for japan, and apparently we got chosen to go.(yatta!)

They come over in July, and we go there in November............

{why couldn't it be we go over there next week???}(which is when some other students are going to Shang Hai) XD

Opening
Aibachan created a baseball team called カラーズ and he is the owner of the team! ^^ Actually he created the team thinking of Karasawa D, the director of Shimura Doubutsuen who once came to Aibachan's radio show.

A-1 GP Strongest Competition
Aibachan read 5 mails about the listeners' "strongest" informations.
One of them was telling that at her school there is a "rhythm swimming club" for synchronized swimming, as one of the options of club activity. Then Aibachan told that he started to attend swimming school when he was 3 years old.

Oshiete Aibachan
- A listener asked if the panda plush toy that Aibachan took to play with the panda baby in Shimura Doubutsuen, was the same as the panda that Nino was using as a pillow in Duet May issue. Because for her, they seem to be the same. Aibachan said that he doesn't know, and he also said that it would sound suspicious if he says that he saw Nino's photoshoot in May issue of Duet. XD
- A junior high student told that she doesn't have neither free time nor opportunities to meet boys, because she studies in a female junior high school, and asked Aibachan how he managed to get a girlfriend when he was a student!!! XD
It's so cute when he replies "Did I ever say that I had a girlfriend!?"
Of course that actually he didn't answer if he had a girlfriend, or how did he approach to the girls. ^^;; Haha!

By the way, Aibachan is such a sportsman ne! He mentioned baseball in the opening, swimming in A-1 GP, and basketball in Oshiete Aibachan! I wish I was good in sports too! My sports skills are really BAD!!! ^^;;

I... Well... it's not a so big thing... But I created a baseball team!
I've already been playing baseball, but that was a team of the office (from Johnny's). And this time I created a team as the owner!
The name of the team is カラーズ (I don't know if it is "COLORS" or "Karaazu", the way it is read ^^;)
Why its name is カラーズ is because...
Do you remember of Karasawa-kun, the director of Doubutsuen, who once came to this program? So our intent by creating this team was to "bring his teens back, one more time".
That's why it's カラーズ of Karasawa-kun. And he's the pitcher.
Let me try to explain why it became like this. Karasawa-kun used to play baseball when he was at high school. And he is a person who dedicated everything to baseball, aiming to participate in the Koushien. (Koushien 甲子園 is a simplification of Hanshin Koushien Stadium, where the national high school baseball tournaments are held every year.)
Although nowadays he have gained a little bit of weight...
He have been playing for a while. And when he was at the 3rd year, in the final stage, finally their turn came. They were winning during the round-robin tournaments, with a difference of about 10 points. They were winning, but after that, the next stage would be the knockout tournament, so they didn't have much confidence that they would continue. So Karasawa-kun was already prepared for it, in case it happens.
Then finally his turn came. And Karasawa-kun was positioned in the next batter circle, wielding lustily his bat. Then he entered in his position, and the sign that came from the manager was... "sacrifice bunt!"
Haha! Even though they had a difference of 10 points! He was like "A sacrifice bunt here!?" Karasawa-kun's thoughts were like "But if we do some attack here, we still have chance to go to the next match!". Even so, what came from the manager was a "sacrifice bunt"...
After hearing that story, my thought was "What a poor thing..." "Poor Karasawa-kun..." ne? Then I said "So what... I may do something for him. I shall be the owner!" Then I gathered some possible team members and created the team. We already played 2 games. And we won the 2 games! Karasawa-kun is the pitcher, the so dreamed pitcher. He said that he wanted to do it. Because when he was in high school, he could only play in the outfield.
Although we already played 2 games, Karasawa-kun played as a pitcher in the first game, but then he suffered an injury which will take 1 month for the fully recover...
staff: Ha?
Hahaha! It happened probably because... I wonder why... Although he played only in the first game, when he went to the hospital he was told that the injury will take 1 month for the fully recover. So he did some acupuncture, and actually he didn't play in our second game. Even though this is a team of Karasawa-kun.
staff: Even so...

Well, that's what I've been doing these days! Here and there! Playing baseball and such.
staff: What about Aiba-san?
I'm usually the number 3 and I'm the center. It's the most kakkoii position!
staff: Looks like Shinjou's position.
Yes, looks like Shinjou-san indeed. (Shinjou Tsuyoshi is a famous baseball player, though I think he already quit playing.) I prefer being in the outfield. Cause the home... Well, I think the listeners can't follow me even if I tell such things... I didn't realize till now, but maybe I talked too much...

A-1 GP Strongest Competition

The "strongest" thing though it wouldn't be able to go to the Guinness Book. This is a corner where you can boast about something familiar to you that you think it can be the strongest/largest/biggest/amazing.
Let's introduce the "strongest" stuff we received this week from everybody.

This one, I really thought this is the "strongest" indeed. From Kumamoto-ken. Eee... Pen name... It's 和(kazu) of 和也(Kazunari) plus 葉(ha) of 葉っぱ(happa = leaf). I received this from Waha(和葉)-san!? Hahaha!

Aibachan konAiba! Our school is an educational institute of nursing, and the cleaning is very strict. Each student must make "Matsui bou" (This is the name of one of the inventions of Matsui Kazuyo-san, the lady who was a regular member in Golden Rush Arashi. It's a stick that makes the cleaning easier and it can be made at home. ^^;) using one set of chopsticks. Since there are about 60 students in each grade, there are about 120 sticks of "Matsui bou" in each grade. Since the students in 4th and 5th grade make them, so there are about 240 sticks of "Matsui bou" in the school. I'm submitting this because I think there isn't any school that has so many sticks of "Matsui bou".

I suppose so ne. I think there isn't. They probably have more than at Matsui-san's home. I think this is probably the "strongest".
staff: More than at Funakoshi-san's home.
Yes, there are more than at Funakoshi-san's home. Sure.
(Funakoshi Eichirou-san is Matsui-san's husband. He already appeared in Shukudaikun.)

Aibachan konAiba! I enjoy listening to your radio show every week. By the way, at my school there is a club activity of synchronized swimming, called "rhythm swimming club". Don't you think it's rare? Our coach is a medalist of the world swimming and is really good. By the way, I join the rhythm swimming club.

Amazing. Was there a synchronized swimming club? For me, there wasn't. Maybe it's a private school. It's written Saitama-ken. It's probably private.
staff: It's not possible to know...
Cause if it's a club activity, it means that they have it during the whole year. Maybe it's an indoor swimming-pool? For synchronized swimming, it must have a certain depth. In common schools... Well, at my school there was one at the roof, but seems that it doesn't sound like this ne. I remember that I always waited eagerly for the swimming-pool time. Always! Wasn't the swimming-pool fun?
staff: It was! Love it.
Did you like it? I do swimming since I was 3 years old. I used to attend the swimming school near my home, and until 5th year of elementary school, I think, I used to go swim twice a week... Twice a week. It was so amusing. I used to receive a kind of report, where I wrote down how many kilometres I swam during this summer. I did it.
And what was cool at that time was that... Do you know the cap, the swimming cap? There is a swimming cap made of rubber, the one which doesn't wet the hair. I wanted to use that, because when you're allowed to use them, it means that you became into another class/level. And the colors, it was also separated by colors.

staff: The rubber cap is a higher level?
Yes, it was like this, even if we have the same age. So I did my best, dreaming for that... though I couldn't...

Aibachan konAiba! I always enjoy listening to your radio show. The other day I was walking the train station, and I found a poster of a lamen shop/restaurant called 嵐. I'll send a photo, so please take a look. By the way, this lamen restaurant is at Tsudanuma of Chiba-ken. Isn't it the "strongest", to have a lamen restaurant called 嵐 in Chiba-ken, the place where Aibachan is from?

But first of all, Ayakaru Paccho-san lives too close to my house! This place used to be my playground when I was at elementary school, here around my house. What I used to do... I think, from the 5th grade of elementary school, I used to go by bicycle, cause if I go by train the rate, for children, costs 60yen. But I thought it was a waste to spend even that 60yen, so I used to go by bike, taking almost 30 minutes to arrive. Then if I go there, there was a bowling center. How many years ago was that? Since it was when I was 10, when I was about 10 years old... So it's about 15 years ago, but in that bowling center, the score points were hand-written. A bowling center where it's hand-written...
staff: Yes, there were!
There were, right?
Huh? But isn't it strange that I know that!? Actually there was the normal computer lane, but also there were some lanes of the hand-written one, and those hand-written were a lot more cheaper. If a strike comes here, then you have to add 2 points, then add here, and such. Aaah... How I remember about that!

The other day I heard about a collection that contains all types of Kinkeshi of Kinnikuman, and all the anime of Kinnikuman, including all the live action movies. It costs about some hundred thousands.
staff: Including the Kinkeshi as a set?
Yes. But I think it's not something to be bought at once. Don't you think so? And I wonder if I can buy and play with Kinkeshi, now in my age.

I thought of buying it, but when I thought whether I would be able to play with them or not, I became insecure and gave up...

This the "strongest" thing of my home. Eee... The other day Aibachan said that the temperature of the bath water is 47 degrees, right? But at my house, my father really likes hot bath, so we set the temperature for the astonishing 55 degrees. I realized this just recently, but isn't it the A-1? Here is the proof, by the way.

It's really set for 55 degrees. Isn't it impressive?

55. Well, so even if it's not exactly 55, it'll still rise to 53 or 4.

I noticed this when I watched the special of Shimura Doubutsuen. The panda plush toy that Aibachan took in your hands to try to play with the panda bear, seemed to be the same as the panda that Nino was using as a pillow in Duet May issue. They happen to be the same? Aibachan, please tell me.

Instead of asking it to me, I think it'll be faster if asking to someone in charge of the edition. Haha! Honestly, if I'm asked if Nino was using the same panda that I was using, I really don't know... Actually they aren't the same... but maybe they happen to be the same? I don't know. (single-sex education) That's why I don't have much free time and I also don't have much opportunities to meet boys. Aibachan, how did you manage to get a girlfriend when you was a student? Please, tell me.

Really? Well... The school that I used to attend was a coeducational school, and it wasn't neither a private school nor a male school. The elementary school was a coeducational school too, so actually I was in an environment surrounded by boys and girls together.
But, I had a kind of admiration for the girls of other schools. Don't you understand? They are. I don't know why of that kind of strange feeling.
staff: Also, a girl who studies at the same preparatory school...
Or maybe when there was a match/game (between schools)... Well, I used to play basketball, so when the male basketball and the female basketball, both go to a match, if there was any free time, we used to think of how we could approach them. We thought of it.
staff: To approach the girls of female basketball of the opponent school.
Yes, yes. Like how can I approach to the girl... But... well... it's difficult ne. Because you may call this "nanpa" ne. ("nanpa" is a kind of flirting in Japan.)
So there was no way for me to do it. I wonder what would be a good approach. The most important is to take the first step ne. But that's what is hard to find.
staff: Although I think that if we go back to our junior high school days now, with the head we have now, maybe there are some strategies.
There are? For me, there aren't. Hahaha! What would you do? Would you drop off a handkerchief or such? If you would go back in the way you're now. Suppose that you went back to junior high, in the way you're now, and you're in the basketball club. Then the opponent junior high school came to the match. How would you approach?
staff: That's to turn yourself into an easy type of person.

Ok... just came back from today's concert + arashi-kai dinner.

 

WARNING

This post is full of spoilers..

 

 

I don't know what to say about this tour. Perhaps TIME was too good, but things are in a total mess for this concert. The opening is very good and kakkoii - all dressed in black. Each member does their own dance in their section, and I thought it was very *cool*

The *PARADE* is a disaster. WHAT HAPPENED?? It this a colaboration of Johnnys and Universal Stadio (USJ)??? Their costumes are super duper clown-ish. I think Ohchan's is the most acceptable, and Sho-kun's being the worst. Sho-kun's collars are segmented and up in the air. Nino looks like he is wearing grass with flowers popping out everywhere. Aiba-chan looks like he is drowning in his costume, especially the blue cloth around his neck @_@ Jun.... let's just say he looks good in anything. They appeared after a circus performance by female dancers, M.A.D, and Juniors, in the order of Jun, Nino, Aiba-chan, Ohchan and Sho-kun. They even sang Everybody zenshin in those costumes... (without dancing), which I felt spoilt the really good song : ( 

After the parade and a few songs was the MC. Omiya disappeared and re-appeared as Omiya SK. I thought Jun-kun and Sho-kun were just about to do a Hanadan Conto.... Omiya suddenly appeared and did their usual taka being centrifuged conto and danced to the wasshoi wasshoi omikoshi/omiya sukoshi theme. It was great seeing Omiya LIVE (as I didn't go to Osaka for April dome last year which was the last time they appeared/VTR) The audience also stood up for Omiya, which Jun-kun commented about later (He was watching the audience's reactions backstage) It was sort of like testing out how the audience would react to Omiya SK. Nino talked about how they've been told so many times to STOP doing Omiya SK. He also uttered... most new Arashi fans who got Hana yori dango -baited into liking Arashi don't know about Omiya SK. Anyway, when they disappeared, there was a big 'EHHHHH' from the audience. Ohchan told Nino that they could possibly return on stage to do another conto, but switched his mind the next moment.

Apparently Sho-kun has finished filming Yatta-man. It's ready to be edited/CG-ed. I have to say.. Sho-kun really gained a lot of weight. I don't know at which stage he filmed Yatta-man, but he could be already quite chubby in there XD He talked about how the opening for VB Yosen is tomorrow, and members teased him asking whether he's practiced enough (vb) for tomorrow.. lols He did an air spike and fell.

Okay.. getting quite late, so I will skim through the rest.

Ohchan solo - he's not dancing much this time. He has already taped the dancing scenes and have them on the monitor... : ( That was quite unfortunate.

Nino solo - it's pretty nice. I think I like the performance the most out of all the solos. He was wearing a black suit with some red and white patterned shirt inside. I don't quite understand what that licking his finger and pushing it on his neck is all about XD

Aiba-chan solo - extremely cute! It's Aiba-chan style, and very himitsu-like. His costume was cute too - Pink x Black checked, hoddie, shorts.

Sho-chan solo - Uh.. costume =_=;;; not too appealing (to me) The dance was quite nice though. He didn't seem to have a problem with his injured foot.

Jun solo - we all knew he was going to strip. But I wish he had only taken off his outjacket and not everything.... He's slightly more chubbier than kakushitoride era. The dance was modern dance.

The confusing theme ECO - Ohchan starts talking about how the tote bag is ECO. We are all confused. I would understand if the profit for the bag or goods were going to contribute in saving the environment or something, but it was lead to the song Green, made by Arashi. It wasn't a very catchy song. It was just the most awkward thing for the theme ECO to suddenly appear.

The concert ended very early (2.5 hrs), and it was most probably because they had planned a long encore. But the first thing that is shown to us during the first encore is a caterpillar/bug (character for this tour) VTR. Yes.. it's cute, and it's Aiba-chan's idea, but ... it doesn't really fit into the tour.

For the next encore (after a few songs) Arashi appeared hung down from an air balloon... Sho-kun stayed still for the entire time while the others rotated around and around. Jun was talking about there is something that will exceed MJ walk in this tour - I wonder if he's talking about this air balloon... They did fight song while hung from the air balloon too.

So all in all, my buddies and I are all a little unsatisfied about this tour : ( Maybe beacuse it's the first concert for the tour, things haven't been made concrete yet... but how much more can a tour change when it's so short and all in domes. I'm quite sure the parade will happen in all venues... X 0  Omiya SK may not appear anymore as that was what they were saying today. What a pitty! Members, especially Sho-kun and Jun-kun must have been very very busy prior to this tour, so perhaps their opinions were not included? Anyway, we shall see :) I hope to see improvements!!
